Authors

Reporting standards

Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication

An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Fundamental errors in published works

When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

Drafting Structure

Articles should be preceded by a title, followed by the author’s ID(s), abstract, keywords and the main body of the article. The main body of the article contains the introduction, discussion, conclusion and references. The introduction and discussion are not a must; the author can directly mention the title and subtitle of the discussion.

Title

The research title should be succinct and insightful using a maximum of 15 words and without any acronyms. The topic should be actual and up-to-date.

Author’s identity

The name of the author should be without academic titles, yet containing identity, institutional affiliation and the accessible address of the corresponding author for the pre- and post-publication purposes.

Abstract

The abstract submitted to TIFBR Journal should be concise, factual containing the research objectives, research findings and the main conclusion. It should be presented separately from the article, so it is independent. Also, the use of acronym should be avoided; provided that it is necessary, it should be defined in the initial part of the abstract, e.g. Tazkia University. In addition, the abstract should not contain picture(s) or table(s), yet using single space, book antiqua, font size 12, spacing after paragraph 6, and a maximum of 200 words.

Keywords

Keywords should contain the general terms and be plural. Acronym should be effectively used (legal abbreviations used in the field that meet the requirements). These keywords will be used for indexation.

Introduction

This section comprises the background, the literature review or the summary of previous relevant studies, the aims of writing the article, and the description of the problem solving and clear objectives of the research. There are three main distinctive characteristics of the TIFBR Journal, which include the background, the objectives and method of the study (without using such terms explicitly as subtitles in the main body of the article).

Data and Methodology

Result Analysis/Discussion

The discussion is highlighted in the title and subtitles of this section. In addition, this section should significantly explore the research findings without redundant and long direct quotation.

Conclusion

The conclusion and recommendation of the author are given in this section and are consistent in using the term “Conclusion”.  The conclusion of the research should serve the urgent purposes of the study within this section. This can be followed by suggesting the relevant future studies.
